M.A.D. (Making
a Difference!) Contest for schools

Alongside the Inspiring Women series we run projects to
encourage young female entrepreneurs in schools.
This is being undertaken with support from Young Enterprise and
Enterprise Insight's Make Your Mark campaign with London schools
taking part.
What is it
all about?
The
competition involves the students producing a business plan for
an idea that will be profitable and have a positive impact on the
community.
The project was kicked off for students with a Social Enterprise
masterclass from Young Enterprise on January 21 in the Commonwealth
Club.
The winners!
The winners of the first competition were announced
at the FreshIdeas Events networking event on 28 February 2008.
St. Marylebone School were the winners with the F.L.X. Gym business
plan and the runners up were St. Georges, Maida Vale with a business
plan for Tree-free cards. Congratulations to all the
teams who took part.
