- As well as being mentored by older and wiser mentors, we can also learn a lot from young mentors.  The business world is changing and thanks to social media we are now more connected than ever before.

Gen Y (born between late 70s and early 90s) are the biggest users of this type of media and are challenging the status quo in all areas as entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs.

We also provided another fantastic opportunity for aspiring businesswomen to get matched to successful business mentors one of whom is a young mentor.

The Event

The event included talks on mentoring from a top executive, an online entrepreneur and from Gen Y on what they can teach us about new technologies.  Keynotes included:

Group on sofaLeading executive – on growing and developing a career and how mentoring can help.

Online female entrepreneur - on starting a business and how mentoring has contributed to growth.

Social media expert – on the changing nature of brands and online conversations, using social media to connect with your customers and employees and what a young mentor or digital native can teach us about social media.

Up to 100 business people got together in the beautiful surroundings of HSBC's private bank in London's Mayfair for an evening of mentoring, inspiring discussion and excellent networking.
