ABOUT THE FIRST COMPETITION

FreshIdeas Events first Mentor Competition ran from September 2008 to May 2009.

This gave women across London the opportunity to have some of the UK's most high profile and successful businesswomen work with them. Ten winners were chosen and matched to one of the ten mentors.

These include an ethical image consultancy encouraging eco-friendly dressing, an online business for those passionate about socialising and dining out in London, and an idea for a new sustainable, community-run hotel.

Would a mentor be useful for your business?


So what's it like to get a mentor and what impact does it have on your business or business idea.
