FreshIdeas Events have launched their first Mentor Competition.

This gives women across London the opportunity to have some of the UK's most high profile and successful businesswomen work with them.  In November, at a ceremony in the BT Tower, ten winners were chosen and matched to one of the ten mentors who will spend six months helping them achieve their goals.

The winners included a wide range of innovative businesses.

These include an ethical image consultancy encouraging eco-friendly dressing, an online business for those passionate about socialising and dining out in London, and an idea for a new sustainable, community-run hotel.
